Zoo Interchange
Milwaukee County, WI

The objective of this project is to collect the data necessary for alternatives analysis and environmental document preparation through the use of a GIS. This data gathering effort is focused on USH 45 between the Zoo Interchange and STH 190 (Capitol Drive) in Milwaukee County and also includes the south, east and west legs of the Zoo Interchange on IH 94 and IH 894. The data collection limits include a System Corridor, a 2-mile wide Planning Corridor and a 1000-foot wide Alternative Analysis Corridor that includes service interchange side roads to a point ½ mile on each side of USH 45. The project also includes the preparation of several project data reports including a Traffic Data Analysis and Collection Plan, a Roadway Deficiency Report, a Phase I Site Assessment and a Drainage Summary.
