Marquette Interchange Design

Since 1998 Kapur & Associates has been providing planning and design services for $810 million Marquette Interchange reconstruction project. Specific design services include: design of the freeway storm sewer system, storm water management plan, freeway lighting system design, local lighting system design, and QA/QC of various design systems including storm sewer, erosion control, steam and water. The challenge of routing utilities through a downtown area built and re-built for 150 years was met by researching plans dating well past the 1960’s design of the interchange back to the early sewer systems of downtown Milwaukee.
