SeaPort-e
Kapur has been selected as a SeaPort-e prime contractor effective 15 July 2010. This contract is a four year contract with a one year extension all owing us to procure engineering and technical support services with the US Navy and its branches including the US Marines.
SeaPort-e is the website that provides the gateway to contract for professional support services with the US Navy Systems Command allowing small businesses the opportunity to compete for projects.
The Navy's electronic platform provides a standardized means of issuing competitive solicitations from a wide variety of pre-approved contractors and consultants, and awards and manages performance based task orders. Seaport-e is the contracting conduit to support services in the 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management for the Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corp, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Businesses compete their service requirements amongst 1800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders. Since nearly 85% of its contract–holders are small businesses, the SeaPort-e approach to acquiring services provides opportunity that fuels the Nation’s engine of job growth.
Kapur is prepared to provide support to the US Navy and its branches. Our capabilities under the SeaPort-e contract include: engineering, modeling, and quality assurance support for Homeland Security, National Needs and Land Based Facilities within Zone-5 (Midwest).
