Marquette Interchange

This project, estimated at $810 million was divided into five major contracts. The project included total reconstruction of the entire freeway interchange system including I-43, I-94 and I-794 and many local streets. Kapur was responsible for design survey, including all utility locations, topographic mapping and right-of-way platting, as well as final geodetic control monumentation prior to construction.
- North Leg: Provided all construction staking for this $102 million project including 10 overpass bridges, 15,000 LF of retaining walls and 2 miles of mainline pavement.
- Core and West Leg: Provided QA/QC survey services to WisDOT construction managers. This $340 million project included 205 substructures and 2,000,000 sf of deck area over 63 bridge units.
- South Leg: Responsible for all construction staking for this $42 million project including all substructure, superstructure, utility and pavement layout.
