The Home Depot at Paradise Woods is a mixed-use development on the southern edge of the City of West Bend in Washington County. The project included an upper class multi-family development, Red Tail Ridge, and a big-box commercial development with associated outlots and sidelots.
The residential development is tucked discreetly amongst large tracks of timber behind the commercial development along the extension of Silverbrook Drive. Nestling Red Tail Ridge into the existing landscape, keeping a 9 acre buffer of wooded property and ponds, and creating additional wetlands and intertwined water features kept the country feel, with all the city services and conveniences just a couple of blocks away.
The Home Depot Development is part of the surge of commercial development on the South end of West Bend. Its proximity to new subdivisions, and its location along USH 45 gives Home Depot the advantage of great freeway exposure. Kapur also provided design services for many of the adjoining developments including Arby’s, Chase Bank & Wendy’s.
