Calhoun Road
City of Brookfield, WI
Design for reconstruction of 1.16 miles of Calhoun Road, transforming an existing 2-lane rural facility into an urban 4-lane facility. Alternative analysis included 4-lane divided urban section and 4-lane divided rural section. Major design considerations included providing access to the many homes along this corridor, historical impacts, signalization warrants at Wisconsin Avenue and drainage considerations.
