CTH K – Intersections with Esker Rd. & 9th St.
Portage County, WI
Provided WisDOT preliminary and final estimates for CTH K improvements at the intersections of Esker Rd. and 9th St. in Portage County. These intersections caused continual maintenance problems and safety concerns. Kapur's proposed upgrades improved stopping sight distance, vision triangles at intersections, traffic channelization and intersection capacity. The improvements were constructed by Portage County staff. A right-of-way plat was also prepared at each intersection.
