STH 59 - Greenfield Ave.
Waukesha County, WI
Section of Greenfield Avenue in Waukesha County widened to two lanes in each direction, separated by a grass median. The project included conversion of rural two-lane roadway into a divided urban roadway with storm sewer and bike paths.
Project design challenges included fitting this improved roadway through a residential area while minimizing property impacts.
