Projects include design, specifications and construction management for over 11,000 feet of water main replacement.
All projects include replacement of valves, laterals and hydrants, and many required restoration of lane and plantings. In various instances, horizontal drilling technology (HDD), pipe bursting, static pulling and replacement techniques were used, not only for cost savings to the Village, but for a safer construction environment.
A 24/7 program for temporary water service to businesses and residents was developed to ensure the stakeholders were never without service during the process.
